Earlier this month CME successfully completed testing the expanded 6-digit GLOBEX Trade Ids with clearing firms (that run their own in-house back office systems) and firm service bureaus. The Globex Trade ID expansion is scheduled for implementation at 5:00 PM (CST) on Friday, February 22, 2002.

The new expanded trade id will increase the GLOBEX Trade Id range to 900,000 records per day. The new trade id range will be from 100,000 to 999,999. As for other trade types, the trade id ranges will remain the same.
